As I prepare to move our library to a remodeled space I need to plan for how much shelf space will be needed. I am in a K-8 school with a libary that is small but rapidly growing. Can someone tell me just generally--with a K-8 population of 665 what should my projected collection number be? How does it break down into sections? What per centage of my shelf space should house fiction, easies, "dewey's" and reference. I think that this has been talked about before, but my computers are not cooperating today and I have barely managed to post this message to you! Thanks so much, I can't imagine life without you.
