Thank you to all who responded to my questions about the magazine
"Yahoo Internet Life". Here is a summary of the replys:

1. Does your school subscribe to this magazine? I received
replies from several high school and middle school libraries that
have subscriptions, no elementary schools.

2. Do you feel it is appropriate for middle school students?
The overwhelming response was no! Quite a few librarians were
dissapointed with the magazine. Several indicated that they
would not be renewing their subscriptions. Two librarians
indicated that they thought it was ok for high school or
professional reading.

3. What other Internet news materials do you provide for
students? I didn't receive any clear answers here. One
librarian indicated that I could spend my periodicals money on
better magazines. Several librarians said that there are enough
Internet information sites on the Internet.

p.s.

I've decided not to renew my subscription to Yahoo Internet Life.
I plan on writing a letter to the editor to tell them why.
