Subject: Book for a High School Boy

Dear fellow netters:
    A student in our school lost his father suddenly this weekend.  He is a
personal  friend and I would like to get him a book.  I am at a loss as to
a suitable book to purchase.  He is a freshman in High School and has had a
pretty tough life.  He has lost his mother, grandmother, grandfather, and
now his dad in less than eight years.  Does anyone have any ideas? TIA
