Dear all, An interesting conversation in our Staff meeting today and one which I would like to share. We were discussing the situation of one Internet connection in the classroom and how to optimise usage. One teacher, who is quite supportive of IT stated that she found "little information on the Internet suited to Grade 3(eight year olds) level...information which they could understand and use". We discussed the Information process and how "using information" is only ONE part of the process...I am wondering, do many find similar "complaints" or are we not locating the suitable sites. We do use Yahooligans (the kids web site) and similar. I would be interested in your experiences. Cheryl Fahey Cluster Teacher Librarian East Maitland. N.S.W.
