Gen:Target: Quality elists and listserves

Dear LM Net Friends,

I've been getting ready for August Staff development in which teachers
will be asked to join an elist or a listserve. I thought I'd whip up a
little web page with 10 or 20 quality lists for them to choose from.
I've found that it's easier said than done! All the resources I've
looked at are overwhelming in volume and don't give the kind of
annotation I'm looking for. They also don't separate "the wheat from the
chaff". My target audience is K-8. In order for these teachers to have a
positive experience, I want them to have a little review of what the
list will be like before they choose. Could you please check over the
list of elists and listserves I have chosen and help me with the
reviews/annotations? Please also send me info on any quality lists for
k-8 teachers that I have left out.
I will, of course, post the resulting website. I think it could be very
useful for a lot of us.
