TECH: Hewlett Packard Printer Deskjet 680C

I have been given the above printer for our library.  It seems to work
find, but has black lines across the page.  Our tech teacher says that the
heads probably need to be cleaned, but I don't have a manual.  Can any of
you tell me how to clean the print head??  Thanks.  It is so wonderful to
know that you are all aout ther and willing to help.
