Since we are in the middle of summer, I hope this is not too great a breach of protocol to ask this question: My family is headed for St. Louis. What points of interest do those of you familiar with the city recommend? Where should we eat? Where should we stay? We like to see everything. I will be collecting information for my vertical files on St. Louis, since so many of our families vacation there. I'd like to stay somewhere central to at least some of the places we'll visit, such as the Arch or Forest Park. We like to eat good food. I am especially interested in the food from "the Hill", since we are of Italian descent. We try to avoid chain-type restaurants and I'd love to hear your suggestions.
