TECH: Group-Wise

Hi ...

With the recent discussion about checking email outside of using one's ISP, I
decided to try using www.mailstart.com to see if it was possible to access
the school's email.  The district uses GroupWise, which is seemingly causing
a problem.  An error came up, which may(?) indicate a firewall  (or something
else!!!) is out there preventing us from getting into our email.

Is there anyone out there who may be familiar with this situation, and might
have some suggestions on how to "get around" this.  It would make life
soooooo much easier to be able to access our email using our home computers
too;  if worst comes to worst,  we could forward the mail to our "personal"
accounts...but ....!!!!
