For the benefit for all those who've asked and all those who've warned :-)

The Paul Harvey program I heard was a recent news report about a small
school in England. I am thinking 500 kids. The principal removed all the
candy and soda machines and refused to allow junk food on campus. "No
sugary, salty, fatty or fizzy stuff", I believe was the quote.

Within the next 26 months, the entire school's reading scores rose over 300%.

I think there may be a lot more to this than just the change in eating
THOUGH I do understand how important good nutrition is. Having lost about
45 pounds this year and changed my eatring habits radically, I can see a
marked difference in my own mental contortions.

I'll gladly post a hit if anyone else heard the name of the school or knows
where to get a copy of the report so I can verify the facts. As was pointed
out in a couple of replies, PH has a tendency to slant stories his way -but
then what media person doesn't these days! :-(
