We From: Kathy Lowe <lowe@MASSED.NET> ience and are currently taking a course entitled, "Management Information Systems for Libraries." One of the course requirements is to conduct exploratory research on the availability and use of information systems in a particular type of library. As aspiring school library media specialists, we are interested in learning about how school librarians communicate with staff members. We would especially like to know if staff databases are used as tools in disseminating information about new acquisitions, educational websites and other resources that might be valuable to content area teachers. We are hoping that you will take a minute to fill out our very brief survey at: http://scsu.ctstateu.edu/~mullins/staffdbs.htm Your help will be greatly appreciated. For those of you who are interested in the findings, I will post a hit or respond directly to you when our project is complete. Many thanks to all!
