My friend asked me if I could
track down their beloved childhood books. I'm stumped on this one, but
I'll quote her e-mail for you, if anyone out there can help:

When I was a kid (sometime between 1968 and 1980....) I read a book
about a
cat named Nimrod. He was a homeless kitty adopted by a Bishop ( I
think).
I think the book was called The Magnifi-cat. I looked on some book
sites &
found possible authors, ALL OF WHOM HAVE WRITTEN A BOOK WITH THAT
TITLE.....
: Rene Bazin, Marilyn Nelson Waniek, Gerald Iles, or Norman Thelwell.

Now.... my question is..... do you have a way of knowing if any of these

are
children's books (which it was) and... if any of these was THE
book.....?!
