LM_Netters~


I am a graduate student at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro
School of Library and Information Studies and new to the LM_NET.  I have
enjoyed reading the net and gleaned a lot of useful information, as I have
not taught beyond student teaching (30 years ago!) and never worked in a
school media center.

I am currently writing an issue paper on collaboration between teachers and
media specialists.  Looking for some input from "y'all" out there on the
front lines.  Is there a collaborative spirit present in your school?  If
so, for quite a while or only recently?  On the increase?  I am especially
interested in any special ideas to foster this collaboration and any
personal experiences you have had pro or con.
