Re: GEN: book discussions on LM_Net?

You know, I've been on this list since almost its beginning.  It has
become a really important part of my professional life.  I have noticed
that during the traditional "school" months, it is much more
"professional" in scope and focused on professional matters.  During the
summer times it relaxes a little and while the posts drop in number the
posts become more personal in nature i.e. travel plans, recipes, etc.  I
think that is just fine.  In fact, I enjoy getting to know the personal
side of the professionals just a little.

I'd enjoy some book discussions.  I very much appreciate the books reviews
that are posted here occasionally. But, not if it is going to overwhelm
our group.  The volume is approaching ponderous during the busy season as
it is.
