Tech: Happy99 virus - one way to get rid of

In case you get this virus here is one way to get rid of it.





      The Happy 99 Virus
      If you have been infected by the Happy 99 virus this is how you can
get
      rid of it.
        Go to find file.
        Look for ska.*.
        If you have Happy 99 virus, your file search will find ska.exe as
well
        as ska.dll
        If you find a file called liste.ska it means that you have sent the
        virus via email as an attachment to everyone on that list.
        Make a note of the exact names and file locations.
        Restart your pc in dos mode.
        type cd\windows\system to get into tyhe windows directory.
        Type del ska.exe (enter)
        Type del ska.dll  (enter)
        Type del liste.ska (enter)
        Type del wsock32.dll (enter)
        Rename your winsock file by typing ren wsock32.ska wsock32.dll
        Enter
      All clear.
      Now, get a virus protection program!!
