Sara,
        Do you have the funding to order novelties from Oriental Trading,
Paradise Products (party goods), or U.S.Toy?? You can get streamers of
plastic flags, either triangular boat types in assorted color schemes, or
flags from around the world in 12 foot lengths and string them aound the
library. They also have strings of streamers in assorted colors and
metallics. Get some helium "Welcome Back", etc. type balloons and/or
blow-up figures around a theme and have a "GRAND OPENING"!
        My theme this year is going to be Reading Is Out of This World!
(MILLENIUM) and I'll be using UFO and alien related blow-up toys and
matching bookmarks and mobiles from Demco and Upstart as well as the
above-mentioned party/novelty companies.
