Dear Dana: 1. Teachers and librarians collaborating is a win win situation. The teachers and students are put in contact with great resources and the librarian can show the wonders of the library. 2. By collaborating with teachers, librarian know more about the needs of the clients and can therefore complete a better library program. 3. By collaborating with teachers, librarians can see the needs of the school and can respond with more informed purchases. 4. Students see the product of communication. 5. Sharing makes teaching a great profession, the enthusiasm is contagious! --o00o--;) Shelley Burgstaller, Teacher Librarian American International School, Salzburg Austria sburgst@ais.salzburg.at =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
