Tech: Windows98 keyboard

Our five newest computers came with a Windows 98 keyboard.  It has 3 extra
keys just below the the delete/end/page_down keys.  They are colored,
labeled power, sleep, wake up.  I'm anticipating many problems with these
and students.  It takes "forever" to wake up using the key--but sure goes
to sleep instantly.  Does anyone have any experience with these keyboards?
I'd never seen them before.  I'll be calling the supplier today about them,
but would appreciate any "hands on" feedback from all of you.
