Atlanta tragedy/coping with childrens' deaths

Good morning fellow netters,

        One of my daughters has just finished her first year of teaching in
Morrow, GA.  She was Michelle Barton's second grade teacher; Matthew was
also a student at her school.  My daughter was visiting us when we saw all
of this on TV yesterday afternoon/evening.  She is on her way back to her
apt. in Stockbridge this morning.  I would like to help her and the others
in her school cope with their part of this tragedy.  If any of you have
suggestions for how the teachers, principal and librarian can honor these
students I would appreciate your input, which I will share with her.

        I have just transferred to a middle school, where 2 students where killed
in a massive car wreck last summer.  I have noticed a picture of each of
them in the school, as well as a stained glass hanging in the school in
their memory, but I am not aware of any other memorial.
