Dear LM_NET Members, After 4 years in library media the moment has arrived for the chance to try flexible scheduling. I need advice from those who have had a successful experience with this type of scheduling. There will be approximately 30 classes involved at the k-5 school. A 15 min. materials checkout time for all classes at least once a week has been recommended. Then bands of time would be allotted for each grade level during the week for small or large group activities. How has this flexible concept been handled at your school? Are you using the 15 min. checkout on Mon. and Tuesday each week? Your help will be very much appreciated. Thanks, Donna Stanley, Library Media Specialist Stuarts Draft Elementary School, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477 donstanl@pen.k12.va.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
