fund raising ideas for school library

Good morning,

I am fairly new to the school library scene and we are having a site
development meeting
later this week.  The library, and it's lack of books is going to be one
topic of discussion.
I've been sitting here racking my brain for ideas of ways to make money, so
far I haven't come
up with very much, bake sales,etc.

If anyone out there would share their ideas or success stories I would
greatly appreciate it.
