Two of our middle school rascals visited some pretty bad sites today.
Because any subsequent user who sits at those workstations and views Search
History can go directly to those sites, we would like to be able to delete
the sites or clear the entire search history.

Here's what we've tried so far that hasn't worked.

1. Selected the offending site references in the Search History list and hit
the delete button. Nothing happened.

2. Went into Preferences, selected Advanced (?), reset Search History to
save the last (0) searches, then rebooted. The list of bad sites (as well as
legitimate ones) was still there.

There must be a way to purge the obscene items or the entire search history.
I would love to be able to allow our students to use these workstations again
soon.

I know that I can log on and just visit a multitude of sites, effectively
pushing the obscene list items further and further to the bottom of the list
and, ultimately, out of site, but there has got to be an easier way.

Would appreciate hearing from you if you have figured out how to clear the
Search History list.

Thank you.
