GEN:Need ASAP - Carpet Tiles in lIbrary?

Hi all from warm, sunny Germany.

I have an immediate need for information.  I have been able to get some
answers concerning carpeting my library over the summer.  The powers that
be want to put in carpet tiles (18" square).  No one at the school level
thinks this is a good idea but we have been told that this is a done deal.

Have any of you been recarpeted with carpet tiles rather than rolled
carpet.  How did it work out?   I would like to have some facts to go on in
case we get another round in this.
