emoving the history is very easy in I.E. : go to where the program keeps its records - most often in Windows. Double click on Windows and you'll see a file "History" with a cute little camera icon. Double click on that folder to have the files listed on the right hand side of the bar that divides the screen. Now, go to the top bar and click on Files. Select All. All the files on the right hand side should be highlighted. Go to Files. Delete. Repond "Yes" to do you want to delete or send to recycle bin. All histories will be removed. (By the way, this method doesn't seem to work in trying to delete only selected files. For that you can use one of the Norton products which allows you to delete specific ones) OK, so you're not a computer freak. Is there another way within I.E. Yup, in I.E., go to the top bar and click on View. Options. Click on Navigation, then go to the bottom of the page "Clear History" (here's where you can define how long you want the history kept, 0 being never). Yes and then OK. (Alice's comment about Netscape is true IF the default has been set to 0, otherwise it will keep the history the same way as I.E.)
