My K-12 building began to implement a video delivery system called Teknet = about 2 years ago. I am the elementary librarian. We have approximately = 600 students and 65 staff members. The system has never been completed. = In the elementary wing, 44% of the rooms do not have any equipment. There = are only 4 VCRs available on the Teknet for the entire staff and they are = located in the high school wing. I have asked my sup't about completion = and am not getting anywhere. I asked about buying VCRs on carts, and he = says that is outdated equipment. My questions: Is anyone else in this situation, with a partially completed video = delivery system? How do you schedule the VCRs? Who is responsible for taking care of = putting in and taking out the videos? If you don't have a flexible = schedule, where do you find time to do this? Are regular VCRs outdated? Thanks.
