Hi, One of my first graders just brought me the following research request: We want to know if every word in the whole world has a vowel in it? My initial reaction was they must, but then I realize I am thinking in English. Knowing every rule has an exception somewhere also makes me hesitate to give the knee jerk reaction. Any one know of a word that does not contain a vowel? Any language would be considered. I would love to be able to give him an example if one or more exists.
