I have money to spend on software for an elementary library (K - 5).
I do not want anything too specific for a grade level or subject area.
I like what I see in the DK catalog and have used one of their
products at the secondary level. Does anyone have any comments
on their CDs for the elementary level?
Someone has suggested what she thinks are called "living books."
The book is on the CD and is read to the child (or the child can
read it) and then you can click on some of the illustrations and
they will "talk." Does anyone use these? Any comments? Where
can I buy them if I want to?
Also, I will be getting a CD tower for the elementary library. Other
than an encyclopedia, can anyone suggest any CDs for the
network. I am not having much luck with review sources. Thanks.
