HIT: Video production/editing equipment

Colleagues:

Last week I asked for information from you about this, and several people
asked for a HIT. Many different products were suggested, with only the Avid
being specifically mentioned by more than one person. It would appear that
few people are doing much in this area yet, perhaps due to the cost. Here
is what is in use:

Apple Desktop Editing Solution
Premiere 5.1
Panasonic camera, MX-1 mixer & character generator (TM 3000), TEAC cd &
tape player, Mackie sound board, Panasonic monitor, Casablanca digital editor.
Adobe Premier & Avid Cinema
Media 100 digital editing system, Mac 9600/350, 18 gig flex array,
Panasonic vcr.

Next week Friday (the 12th) I'll be going to Pittsburg, Kansas to look at
what DEPCO has to offer. I'll post any interesting information on the 15th.
