With 94 sites, I don't think we ever get "full" communication. At the district level, the Educational Media dept. sponsors monthly meetings for each school level, i.e., HS personnel meets after school as a group on the third Thursday of the month; MS personnel meet before school on the second Thursday of the month, and ELEM personnel meet on the first Thursday of the month after school. IN addition, there are all district meetings at the beginning and end of each school year. We are establishing a listserv that will be limited to school library personnel, both media specialists and library assistants. As the district gets fully networked and as library personnel become more conversant with listservs, I am hoping that this will be a good avenue for communication, both between and up/down. I "broadcast" messages to library personnel using Eudora nicknames. I have three nickname groups, HS, MS and ELEM for all those that are already online. Beyond that, we rely on the inter school delivery service (every other day) for communication. Edith M.
