Last week my tongue became incredibly weary as I was teaching eighth
graders about URLs, etc.

The "w.w.w." became increasingly annoying.

The teacher I was working with had a great solution: instead of staying
"double-u, double-u, double-u", why don't we just say: "tri-dub."

Works great for me! Tri-dub. Of course, we live here in Washington
state, where we call the University of Washington "U-Dub."

Anybody else out there like "tri-dub?"
