Due to retirement, the library media specialist position at Hutchinson
High School,
Hutchinson, KS, is open beginning August, 1999.  Hutchinson High School
is a
comprehensive 6A school with an enrollment of approximately 1400
students and 100
staff members.  Hutchinson is located in south central Kansas, about 40
miles
from Wichita.  Population is approximately 50,000+

The library is staffed by one full-time library media specialist and two
full time
clerks.  The district is automated using Gaylord's Galaxy.

Applicants should be eligible for Kansas Library Media Certification.
MLS, or Educational Technology degree with library and education related
coursework,
preferred.  Strong interpersonal skills and background in teaching
information
literacy skills to students and staff desired.  Salary commensurate with
education
and experience.
