Friends, A senior in my district has recently been injured in an accident and is permanently paralyzed from the waist down. He is college-bound; continuing with his plans for higher ed. I have been asked to recommend an "inspirational" book to be presented to him by our teacher's union. I am completely out of my depth here as I'm an elementary librarian, 20+ years from any Sr high or adult literature courses. If you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate them. Thanks so much.
