GEN: Programming for 18mos-8yr olds

Over the weekend I accidentally deleted a request for info working with 3-4
year olds. I am sending this info to the whole list in case someone else out
there might be interested.

A great publication to use in planning storytimes with fingerplays, songs,
stories, bibliography, flannel board stories, and activities is KIDSTUFF. It
is a  booklet, three hole punched,  that comes out 4-6 times a year complete
with almost everything you need to work with these age groups.  Each issue is
based on a theme.  Some have been mice, hats, food, kings and queens, mother
goose, owls, mud, weather, bedtime, etc.   A GREAT, GREAT resource.

It even provides a sample program for ranges of ages.  This is a great
resource for school and public libraries.
