I could use some suggestions for a particularly difficult class with a large number of students with various learning disabilities. They are a 4th grade class and they never stop talking. My three main rules are Curtisey, Attention and Respect. When trying to have students in the class show off work, the others won't stop talking to listen to classmates, when trying to give directions they keep talking. Their voice levels are always very loud. Any suggestions?? I've tried lowering my voice, stopping and waiting for them to quiet down. Would you not let the group get books one week? Audrey D.
