Hello LM_Net'ers! Our district has been gathering 'local lore' material from numerous sources for some time. Now we are looking for help to put our Pinelands Project into a digital database format. We would like to use the existing material in three formats: 1. Documents would be PDF files 2. Graphics would be JPG images 3. Interviews would be Real Audio Files Video would be an option if we could get funding.... So, we are looking for the best way to create a searchable database with the 'east common denominator' so that it could be used without a lot (much/ any) connectivity. Is a CD, browser based, a possibility? Any thoughts. The idea of a browser is key, because we also want this to be on the WEB. If this were on a WEB server, no problem, but the CD becomes the ??? Any sources anyone could suggest? Thanks for your attention in reading this far and perhaps someone has some good thoughts...
