I think we have a serious problem with Dr. Laura.  The lib tech committee
made a presentation to our school board last week about our recommendation
for a new automation system.  One board member wanted to know if the program
would allow students to access the ALA sites that included pornography.  I
don't think that before Dr. Laura any of our board members would have even
known what the letters stood for.  Does anyone know if ALA execs have
contacted her or tried to reason with her?  She is really doing a lot of
damage to the profession.
