Has anyone had any experiences with Direct Web? This company, for a deposit of $150, will send you a computer, monitor, modem, etc - all you need to get on the internet - along with Microsoft Suite and an anit virus program whose name I can't remember. There are three packages, the cheapest of which is $19.95 a month, for three years. At the end of three years they will replace your computer with an upgrade, or you send the one you have back and you are done with them. At any time you can cancel your contract and return the computer. I called the # (1-888-INVASION) and asked a few questions, and I found out that the preferences are set so you must connect thru the DirectWeb website, and you can not change it. There is also an advertiser's message at the opening each day, simialr to AOL. Do you have any experiences with this? It sounds too good to be true. Or, if you can supply me with some "intelligent" questions to ask, I would appreciate it. Karen DeFrank, LMS and computer consumer Dorothy L.
