TARGET: Writing contests

Dear Folks,

We are a K-5 school and have a third grader and a fifth grader
interested in entering a writing contest.  I have seen lots of queries
for this info in the archives, but no hits.  I found a couple of
possibilities by searching the net, but would be most appreciative if
you could send me suggestions for specific writing contests or websites
that serve as a clearinghouse for information on several different ones.

Of course I'd like to find a good contest that is currently running, but
if you have information on any annual writing contests for elementary
students (even if the deadline has already passed for this year) I'd
really like that too, for future reference.

I will be more than happy to post a hit on this subject, and thank you
for always being such a helpful group!
