Hello Friends! I have a whole shelf full of software titles that never get checked out. Teachers know it is here, but they just don't take the time to use it. I'm wondering if it would be better to take these things and just give them to the teachers that I think would most benefit from their use. It's my understanding that the titles can be installed on multiple machines, but since the CD is needed to run it, you could only use it on one machine at a time, and that takes care of the copyright issue. How many of you actually keep software in the library for checkout? Is it used? I have four copies of Oregon Trail II which I think I will just give to my four 4th grade teachers--they will get the best use of it, and I won't have to take all the time to catalog! Am I thinking incorrectly, or what? Thanks for the advice!
