GEN: declining book sales

Hi ... this NYT article on a reported decline in book sales may be of
interest to this group:

Personally, I have to think that as mass-market paperbacks have reached the
$7 and up price range, it is not surprising that sales would fall.  (Not to
mention that many books have trade paperback editions priced upwards of $15
-- way beyond a lot of budgets.)
