remotes

Does anyone out there have a slick  way to attach remote controls to TV's,
VCR's, etc.  We do have some velcroed and that works rather well, but now
the manufacturers are going contemporary with designs that are not flat and
there doesn't appear to be a way to attach the remotes.  Any ideas would be
appreciated.  TIA
