Hi, all, I have a sort of silly question, I think, but here goes. As school librarians/media specialists, do you all belong to ALA in addition to your local/state school library association? If so, do you also belong to any of the divisions such as AASL and YALSA? Here's my situation: in dealing with budget cuts, I never renewed my ALA membership but I still do belong to my state organization. Is it prudent to belong to both? Being in a high school, should I belong to a division? If so, which one, AASL or YALSA? Thanks for your input...
