Thank you to all of you who offered suggestions on Nutrition Software. Some
people asked for a hit so here it is.

Our home and family living teacher uses "You Are What You Eat". It's
quite good but also quite simple. She said it didn't cost much
(probably less than $100) and she got it from one of the "regular"
software catalogs (Learning, etc.).

We have a CD-ROM for Windows titled the Ultimate Human Body 2.0 from
Dorling Kindersley that breaks down what you eat. Phone: 1-800-KDMM-575 or
Fax: 212-213-5240. It also does a lot of other interesting things.

How about the free 5-A-Day from Dole? It is at their web-site. Ask for
as many copies as you wish.

I know that Encarta used to do that in their older versions -
haven't checked the '98 version though.

Our health teacher uses MacDine with her classes. Students enter
their weight, height, etc. and then keep a log of what they eat
and their level of activity (I believe) over a period of time.

Thanks again to all
