Medieval Ladies-in-Waiting

Hi!

I have a 6th grade student who is looking for information about
Medieval  ladies-in-waiting. As part of their study of this historical
period, each student is searching for information on various roles. We
haven't been able to find any descriptions of this particular job. Any
suggestions on where we can look?
