GEN: Possible Plagiarisms

One of our teachers asked me for help to determine if two of her students
plagiarized poems.  I have tried to locate these poems but I had no success.
I suspect that these poems were taken from Christian poetry books.  I am
hoping that one of you can help be identify them.  I am including one stanza
from each of the poems:

During your life journey,
God will put you to the test.
Though others drag behind
Pay no attention to the rest.

#2:  Life: it is our journey,
      so you must see,
      For everyone, even you and me.
