gen: acorn story

Hi All,
I am looking for a poem or short story, I'm not sure which it is, about an
acorn that grows into a strong oak tree.  If it rings any bells please let
me know.  Our school is Oak Grove and will be closing at the end of the
month.  We'd like to read the acorn story for our celebration.  TIA
