GEN: Who owns Marvel Comics?

I have a student who wants to know how the company that makes Marvel Comics
is doing financially -- actually, just on the comics sector, not on the
other stuff it sells.
I tried to find out who publishes Marvel comics, and got something about
Marvel Entertainment Group under comics in Yahoo. Are they the ones?  Is
this a publicly traded stock? If so, where can I find its symbol (I tried
looking up Marvel, but only found five things for "Marvel Enterprises" -- I
don't think any were the comics.

Any help would be appreciated. (I need this for tomorrow)
