I would like some clarification on the topic of showing "Home Use Only" videotapes. Today the sixth grade teachers in one of our middle schools made a request to the library staff for a tape to be broadcast to three of their classrooms. The tape is a rental copy of <underline>Apollo 13,</underline> clearly marked for home use only. The librarian and staff are concerned that this is a violation of copyright, but the principal sees no problem. The tape is being shown to "fill in" during a period when many students are involved in make up testing so it does seem to be a face to face teaching situation. What do others do in this type of situation?
