DR. LAURA TAKES ON TV: Pedantic radio shrink Dr. Laura Schlessinger has
signed a $3 million development deal with Paramount Domestic TV.
According to Variety, the hour-long, weekday series is scheduled to debut in
fall
2000. "I'm not just doing my radio show on TV," Schlessinger says. "It's not
going to be a shrink show, but it will be geared toward my interest in
discussing ethics, principles, values and morality in a compelling and
entertaining way."
