ELEM: Flex Scheduling

Words of wisdom and support, please! The word has gotten out that the
library (3-5) will go from fully fixed to fixed/flex next year. I hear there
is hostility among the troops. Our computer lab went to a flex schedule last
year and unfortunately the tech integration specialist hasn't exactly "paved
the way" for me. Any suggestions on how to handle this. I really want this
to work but the complaints are going to be that it did not work with
computer and they will all be competing to get into the library because of
the way their schedules are arranged. To a certain degree that might be true
but I really believe that this is the right way to go. Any ideas on how I
might respond?
