WWII, MIA

Friends,
While teaching a workshop to Administration, the Assst. Supt. wanted to
search for WWII MIA in Germany in 1943. I showed him how to use the
keywords and advanced search etc. The usual techniques. I wondered if there
is a site for this type of information through the government or the
military. He got interesting results but not the list he wanted. Does
anyone know of such a site or another way we could try?  TIA
